Sorry it has been so long!!!! My phone completely busted which means I don't have a way to take pictures right now so I got behind on updating.
Acne Status: I can tell you that my skin has continued to improve. I have one place on my left cheek that has flared up, gone down, and flared up again over and over during my treatment. It is currently going back down. It's really annoying since it is obviously going to scar badly due to it fluctuating repeatedly. I still have small cysts on the right side of my neck that popped up during my period. They are much smaller now and don't hurt but they are visible. My blackheads are still almost nonexistent. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation but I've been doing multiple things to try to improve this that I will include in my skin care routine section.
Side Effects: My lips have gotten a lot worse. They peel, they're chapped, they bleed, and the raw skin underneath keeps getting exposed which is incredibly uncomfortable. I've been using Burt's Bees Honey chapstick and aquaphor for them but I have to use them constantly or it's unbearable.
Dry skin still but not as much on my face. Around my mouth stays pretty dry but I just triple moisturize and it goes away and stays away all day. My legs are a different story. They did the same strange peeling thing that my arms did. At first they got very scaly after I shaved and then started peeling as if I had a sunburn but I didn't. I'm also still incredibly fatigued. I don't know what to do to make it better. I have a very difficult time getting up in the morning and I have to take a long nap every day.
Skin Care Routine: Okay here is what I do daily-
Morning I wash my face with the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, use the Estee Lauder Idealist (for the scars/pigmentation), CeraVe AM spf 30 moisturizer, and some Body Shop Carrot Creme right around my mouth for the super dry stuff
Evening Wash my face with the CeraVe cleanser again, Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Corrector (for the scars again), and CeraVe PM moisturizer
Every other day I'm using baking soda mixed with water for gentle exfoliation (veryyyyy gentle!) followed by lemon juice on a cotton swab for the scars and hyperpigmentation.
I'm still using the same stuff for my body as I was before. I've started using coconut oil on my hair because it has gotten very dry. I stopped dying it blonde because it was causing too much damage but I am still coloring it red which is damaging but not nearly as much as bleaching it.
Supplements: Evening Primrose Oil 500mg 2x daily
Vitamin E 400 IU 1x daily
Vitamin D 4,000 IU 1x daily
St. John's Wort 900mg 1x daily
Renew Life Ultimate Flora Critical Care (probiotic) 1x daily
Sorry again for no pictures! As soon as I get my new phone I will take some and upload them.
